The repair system for the 10,000m2 roof entailed repairing all roof sheeting fixtures, modifying the inadequate box gutters, addressing all roof corrosion, and finally applying multiple coats of CoolBond® heat re-radiating membrane to dramatically reduce heat from entering the roof / facility.
The roof was over 40 years old and had previously been patched and membrane coated. All previous repairs had not led to a long-term leak-free roof with the absence of rusting and severe sheeting degradation. The previous membrane had extensively bubbled and was peeling off.
Corrosion Control Australia managed the entire roof repairs/ refurbishment including installation of new walkways to give technicians access to the many AC units.
