The roof repair system entailed repairing all roof sheeting fixtures and fittings, modifying the inadequate box gutters to cope with severe storm conditions, addressing all roof corrosion, and finally applying multiple coats of Solarproofheat re-radiating membrane to dramatically reduce heat from entering the roof / facility.
The roof was over 40 years old and had previously been patched and membrane coated. All previous repairs had not led to a long-term leak-free roof with the absence of rusting and severe sheeting degradation. The previous membrane had extensively bubbled and was peeling off.
Corrosion Control Australia managed the entire roof repairs/ refurbishment including installation of new walkways to give technicians access to the many AC units.
