Welcome to Corrosion Control Australia (“CCA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service govern your use of our website (https://corrosioncontrolaustralia.com/) and your engagement with our commercial roof repair, waterproofing, and corrosion mitigation services.
By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
1. Services and Quotes
-
Scope of Work: The specific services to be provided (such as CoolBond® application, Metaltreat® corrosion inhibition, concrete repair, or waterproofing) will be detailed in a formal written quote or proposal provided to you.
-
Validity: Unless stated otherwise, all quotes are valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issue.
-
Variations: Any additional work required that falls outside the original scope of the accepted quote (e.g., discovering severe underlying structural damage during a roof inspection) will be treated as a variation. Variations will be quoted separately and must be approved by you before that specific work commences.
2. Pricing and Payment Terms
-
GST: All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).
-
Invoicing: Payment schedules (including any required deposits before commencement of work) will be outlined in your specific project proposal.
-
Default: Failure to pay invoices by the due date may result in late fees, suspension of ongoing works, or the voiding of any applicable warranties until the account is settled in full.
3. Site Access and Client Obligations
To ensure our team can safely and effectively carry out commercial roofing and repair projects, you agree to:
-
Provide our technicians and contractors with safe, unhindered access to the site and the specific work areas (e.g., roof access points) during agreed-upon working hours.
-
Ensure the site complies with relevant Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
-
Disclose any known hazards on the site, including but not limited to the presence of asbestos, fragile roof sheeting, or electrical hazards.
4. Warranties and Australian Consumer Law
-
Specific Warranties: We pride ourselves on our technical expertise and offer industry-leading warranties (such as our 20-year warranty on CoolBond® Cooling Membrane applications). The specific duration and conditions of your warranty will be provided in your final project documentation. Warranties do not cover damage caused by subsequent third-party contractors, extreme weather events, or lack of standard maintenance.
-
Statutory Rights: Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the ACL), Corrosion Control Australia’s liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the provision of our services is limited to:
-
The re-supply of the services; or
-
The payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, or structural damage arising from pre-existing conditions (e.g., pre-existing concrete cancer, degraded sub-structures, or existing leaks not explicitly included in the scope of repair).
6. Intellectual Property
-
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and videos, is the property of Corrosion Control Australia and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws.

Trademarks: “CoolBond®” and “Metaltreat®” are registered trademarks or proprietary products. You may not use these terms, our logos, or our brand materials without our express prior written consent.

You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the site’s functionality.
8. Force Majeure
Corrosion Control Australia will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, extreme weather events, natural disasters, pandemic restrictions, labor strikes, or supply chain shortages of necessary materials.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
